Writing an Opinion Piece
An opinion piece encourages the reader to accept the writer's beliefs or opinions.

You have learned about the components of a opinion paper. Now let's look at an example that was written by a fourth grader JUST LIKE YOU! It should give you an idea of what an opinion piece is.

People communicate in many ways. Writing letters , face-to-face, texting, video chats, shaking hands and even smiling, are forms of communication. In your essay, describe which form of communication is the most effective. Make sure to give at least two convincing reasons.
